Informal Saturday runs and coaching in far north Irving. The Summer 2010 season started May 22, but you can join anytime during the season! It's only available as an add-on for those who register for a Heels and Hills race, any distance. Whether you're tackling the 5K, 10K, or half marathon, get out there and get active all season with others to support you and help you attain your goals!
$13 for 19 weeks starting May 22 for the Heels & Hills & Him event.
We will be there during a two hour window each Saturday morning. The window will shift a little throughout the season dependent on when:
- when it's a little warmer in winter,
- when the sunrise is, and
- when it's cooler in late spring as the temperatures heat up earlier and people are working on longer distances later in the season
But this will allow everyone to come when it works for THEM! So this is a come and go with folks working at different speeds for different distances. We'll start with 8-10 am at first. Note this is not a super formal training program with rigid pace group teams, but a chance to get in a workout while feeling accountable and meeting some other folks in the same situation! Formal training programs cost a lot more and have set miles that must be completed at each group runs, regardless of if you are feeling stronger that week or need to back off your miles a little to prevent injury.
We'll also be available by email as you need guidance throughout the season!
